Home to sweeping Murray River views and famously cold beer, the historic Tintaldra Hotel—established in 1870—is a favourite with locals and touring groups alike. Nicknamed the ‘Tinpot’, this country pub is known for its weekend treat of freshly shucked Pambula oysters and popular curry nights. Guests can stay in basic accommodation near the expansive beer garden.

Affectionately known as the ‘Top Pub’, the Corryong Courthouse Hotel blends history with warm High Country hospitality. The spacious beer garden is perfect for sunny days, while the extensive menu caters to all tastes, including smaller portions for younger guests. The historic function room is available for events. The accommodation wing numerous room configurations with ensuite facilities.

Walwa Hotel
39 Main Street, Walwa

Established in 1926, Walwa Hotel is a beloved spot full of charm and character, drawing generations of locals and visitors alike. The dog-friendly beer garden, complete with water bowls, is perfect for enjoying ice-cold beers and a great wine list alongside hearty, traditional pub food. Popular with travellers, local workers, and cycling or motorbike groups, the hotel offers six newly updated motel rooms with free continental breakfast.

Cudgewa Hotel
77 Main Street, Cudgewa 

Founded in 1921, the Cudgewa Hotel offers a warm country welcome just 12 km from Corryong. Known for its quality meals made from fresh, seasonal produce—including free-range chicken and grass-fed lamb—enjoy delicious schnitzels, tenders, and crumbed cutlets. Currently known for opening on Friday nights with delicious meal options, the managers warmly welcome giving them a call. The hotel’s pet-friendly, green lawn and garden provide a relaxing spot to unwind, and it’s a popular venue for private functions.

Once an illegal wine shanty during the tin mining boom, the Koetong Pub is a beloved stop along the High Country Rail Trail. Known for top-notch hospitality and some of the region’s best food, the pub proudly supports local producers, offering homemade sweets and Mt Beauty coffee. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the beer garden (open Thursday–Sunday in winter, Wednesday–Monday in warmer months), or stay in the self-contained unit—ideal for exploring nearby natural attractions.

This Pub is temporarily closed as it seeks new ownership.

Tooma Inn

Step into history at the Tooma Inn, a charming country pub dating back to 1879. Famous for its decadent lolly bar—packed with chocolates, lollies, and ice-creams—the venue also features an all-Australian gift shop stocked with travel essentials and gourmet treats.
