Conic Rocks

The High Country Rail Trail

Stretching over 80 km from Wodonga to Shelley, this famous historic rail trail can be navigated east to west or west to east. There’s also a self-contained 7.5 km section in beautiful Corryong – great for families or those looking for a short-and-sweet walk or ride.

Pine Mountain Walking Track

Pine Mountain Walking Track

For serious bushwalkers, the Pine Mountain Walking Track in Burrowa-Pine Mountain National Park offers a challenging ridgeline hike with spectacular views. Pine Mountain is reputedly one-and-a-half times the size of Uluru, and the summit walk showcases diverse native plants and wildlife.

Families can enjoy the shorter walk to Rocky Knob (1.5 km), while experienced hikers can continue to the summit. Be prepared for strenuous conditions, changing weather, and carry adequate water and maps.

Bluff Creek Nature Trail

Enjoy a relaxing walk through moist, fern-filled gullies and towering Blue Gum trees along the popular Bluff Creek Nature Trail in Burrowa-Pine Mountain National Park. The trail leads to the beautiful Bluff Falls before turning back, providing a peaceful nature experience suitable for those looking to stretch their legs.

The Corryong Circuit Trail is a 4.7 km all-abilities walking and cycling loop that offers stunning valley views and a unique way to experience the township. Along the trail, interpretive signage shares stories of pioneer life, local heritage, and the people after whom many of Corryong’s streets are named. This engaging trail connects cultural, natural, and historical highlights, making it a perfect outing for visitors of all ages and abilities.
