Located in the heart of Corryong, the Corryong Visitor Information Centre is the ideal starting point for exploring the town, Towong Shire, and the wider Upper Murray region.

Situated in far North East Victoria near the upper reaches of the Murray River, the region is where productive farmland meets the Great Dividing Range and the NSW Snowy Mountains.

The Centre provides up to date information on local attractions, accommodation, tours, shopping, dining, and events. Friendly staff and passionate local volunteers are on hand to share their local knowledge and help visitors make the most of their time in the region.

The Centre also features a retail space operated by the Man From Snowy River Tourist Association, offering a thoughtful range of locally themed merchandise and souvenirs. All proceeds support community projects across the Upper Murray.

Visitors are welcome to relax on the sunny deck overlooking Attree Centre Park, with cafes nearby for a coffee or light meal.

At the entrance to the Centre stands a life sized bronze statue of Jack Riley, widely believed to be the inspiration for Banjo Paterson's The Man from Snowy River. The statue is accompanied by interpretive signage and an interactive audio recording of local poet Maurie Foun reciting the iconic poem, making this a memorable stop for literature lovers and history enthusiasts alike.
