Lake Hume has plenty of community events all year round

From charming farmers markets to quirky family fun-days (hay bale toss and all!), cycle challenges to swimming classics, angling competitions to vintage car and machine meets, and more. Most notably (or noisily), Lake Hume plays host to the Australian Formula Grand Prix Powerboat competition each year in December.
