The qualified chefs love cooking up classic country pub fare, using local produce and sourcing beef from their own nearby farm and other properties in the Mitta Valley. It's true paddock to plate here at the Dart.
The pub caters for small and large groups, weddings parties anything. Adventure groups, bus tours, motor bike clubs, four wheel drive clubs, trekkers, grey nomads. They have a free campground out the back of the pub serviced with a new shower block with laundry.
There is also a large hall available for exhibitions and conventions and the town has plenty of short stay homes and a large motel.
Nearby Dartmouth Dam (also known as Lake Dartmouth) is renowned for its fantastic fishing; it is a superb recreational rainbow and brown trout destination and one of very few breeding grounds for the elusive Macquarie perch. In addition to the excellent fishing, Lake Dartmouth permits a variety of water sports, and the top of the dam wall has a lovely lookout across the lake towards the native forests.
